Radiologist
Dr Xin Kowa is a consultant head and neck radiologist at University College London Hospital (UCLH). She has trained and worked in large tertiary centres in London (UCLH, Royal London Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital) where she completed her subspecialty fellowship in head and neck imaging in 2020.
Her multimodality imaging practice of the head and neck region includes benign and malignant pathologies, and sarcomas (for which UCLH is the regional specialist referral centre). In addition, intraoral scanning also forms part of her diagnostic sonographic work. She provides ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration and core biopsy procedures of:
- Thyroid
- Lymph nodes
- Major salivary glands
- Soft tissue lumps and bumps of the head, neck and face
