Dr Nikhil Patel

Dr Nikhil R Patel is a Consultant Radiologist at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and specialises in musculoskeletal imaging. He completed both general radiology and subspecialty musculoskeletal radiology training within the Kent, Surrey, and London deaneries. He spent his final year of specialty training at St George’s Hospital, London to further enhance his musculoskeletal radiology skills. He is experienced in a vast array of musculoskeletal imaging including MRI, CT, and ultrasound guided procedures. He also performs general ultrasound as part of his clinical practice including abdomen, kidneys, testes and DVT scans. Dr Patel qualified from Barts and The London, School of Medicine in 2012, where he also achieved a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He is passionate about teaching, having taught both locally and nationally, including anatomy at university level, and helps organise regional radiology courses.
